It’s official

It’s OFFICIAL! I am on a HOLIDAY and it’s my Birthday (12 June)! Yes, gladly announced it though I hit the BIG 3X yet it gets more and more exciting each year.

Early Birthday Celebration and Father’s day Family dinner at The Line, Shangri’la Hotel was wonderful, nice ambience and wide selection of cuisine to choose from. Of course, oysters are our top priority thus you cannot see it on the dining table Looooooong enough…

After cutting the cake and realised there were some colours on the knife and my eyes were wide open with delight! It’s my Rainbooooooooow CAKE!!! That’s a genuine Happy Face, one can’t go wrong with! 🙂

Oh My June is here

Weeeee! Holidays! 🙂 

Finally the month of June is here again. Extremely loving it because it’s my birthday month, The Great Singapore Sale is going on, having my leave and taking a long 9 days break from work and away from the “CRAZIES”. No wait, they are everywhere… Also, celebrating Father’s day and yes, we are having sumptuous buffet and will blog again on the place and food. Lots of things to catch up, errands to run, reflections on things done this year thus far and CHANGE of job seems idea. Though closing my blogshop never cross my mind.

And i just had the most thrilling experience of having my wisdom extracted out and thank god, the roots did not break otherwise a surgery is required. Prayers truly help alot before going to the dentist.

Say your prayers

A full check on all teeth, took some medicine, signed the acknowledgement form for dentist to perform wisdom tooth extraction and terms. Now, took a deep breath and told my dentist that everything’s good. Then came 4 jabs, just gotta bear a little of pain and my gum went numb. Rinsed my mouth. Came the tool into my mouth, first try, can’t be done, another tool changed and i remembered tools were changed 5 times till my wisdom tooth was out! Alas, what a RELIEVE! My eyes were closed all the time. Come to think of it, this removal could bring about a smaller, less rotund face. Yippeee! Looking forward to my recovery. 🙂

Haha I wished! Then again i’m thankful to god’s creation and no plastic surgery necessary!

2013 Sssssnake Year!

Happy Chinese New Year! May the snake year brings you everything that you’ve desired and much more. 金蛇年到了! 祝大家＂蛇＂麼都如意！作＂蛇＂麼都成功！今年huat huat huat !!! 😛

Rise and shine on the first day of Chinese Snake Year. Neither slithering, nor scaly remains on ground or hissing sound made when making my way out of my house only rushing as usual with my hair 3/4 dry due to staying up late on CNY eve. You must be wondering why? It is believed that the children have to VIGIL (守夜) in return for their beloved parents to live till a ripe age and so I did. 🙂

Off to the church

Started my day early at 8.30am in a church, gave praise and thank god for his love and blessings. Tuning into the pastor’s preaching is awesomely good for my soul!

Thereafter, it was time to pay my relatives a New Year’s visits or the chinese called it “拜年”. This is when we began our feasting, catching up and exchange auspicious greetings.

The children and young, single ones are always jubilant to receive red packets (紅包)  from their seniors or married persons. As always the house is filled with laughters and auspicious greetings to one another. One can never go wrong with恭喜發財. Or a longer version, 祝您在新的一年里心想事成,万事如意! Good facial exercises after one hearty day.

Holding anything that is auspicious and lucky as we posed for a Chinese New Year picture after dinner. I gotta feeling that 2013 gonna be a FANTASTIC n LUCKY year!

A new addition to the family tree is a cutie pie from my cousin who gave birth to an angel 1o months back. This kid sure grows fast and brings joy to people! Next shall be my sister? 😛

Singaporeans are definitely all PSYched to join in the motions of Gangnam Style Dance Craze at Marina Bay Sands on 1st December! Lots of gyration, hands and hips in coordination and of course you cannot do without the catchy “Techno-like” tune all rolled into one. Gangnam Style dance is a worldwide phenomenon now and PSY is on the go by invitation to many countries to showcase his ‘much talk about’ dance! 🙂

Yummy Beancurd

And the BEST beancurd award goes to “Lao Ban Tou Hua“, according to TLC Babe Blogshop. Truly and thoroughly enjoyed the supple, tasty cold beancurd today. I have been searching and trying out good beancurds all over Singapore and this I must say is my FAVOURITE!

There are a few outlets in Singapore and today I’ve bought mine at Cityvibe Clementi. The small mall just beside Clementi Mall. There are 2 batches for sale of their beancurd which starts at 1pm and 6pm, closes when sold out. I was at the end of the queue despite the store was yet to be opened. Witnessed 2 persons ordered 20 packs of beancurd at one go, I was quite amazed at the same time waiting patiently till it was my turn. It did not take long and after 15 mins or so, I’ve got my hands on my “PRECIOUS“. Happily ordered mine and ate it! What a fulfilling day! Eating beancurd makes me HAPPY! 😀

Still left with one more beancurd in the refrigerator, leaving it for supper tonight. Woooohoooo… hehe 😛

Have you been to The Gardens By The Bay? Truly was I impressed with it. Deservingly awarded the world building of the year in 2012. It also won the best display building for its conservatories, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.

Where is this located? Gardens by the bay can only be found at the most frequently visited and much talked about Marina Bay and the nearest public transportation will be Marina Bay MRT. Getting around Singapore is “breezily” accessible!

The latest showcase at Gardens By the Bay is Autumn Harvest At The Flower Dome – Pumpkins are abundant with marigolds, sunflowers and spot the cute bunny!
